The Material Safety Data Sheet in Türkiye is regulated by the “Regulation on Safety Data Sheets for Hazardous Substances and Mixtures,” which entered into force on December 13, 2014. This requirement is stated in Article 5 of the Regulation on Safety Data Sheets for Hazardous Substances and Mixtures. In addition, the MSDS document must be approved by TSE (Turkish Standards Institute) as mentioned above, and the person preparing it must be certified by TÜRKAK (Turkish Accreditation Agency).

For every chemical substance purchased, the buyer has the right to receive a Material Safety Data Sheet prepared in Turkish from the manufacturer or supplier.
