PURPOSE
PURPOSE
The purpose of the human rights policy is to reflect the principles adopted by QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. regarding human rights and to serve as a guiding framework for its employees and business partners.
This policy has been prepared based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Fundamental ILO Conventions, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and national laws. It is aligned with “We and Our Principles at QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş.” and includes the ethical principles and standards of conduct in working life that apply to employees within QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. and its affiliated branches, as well as to all business partners.
2. SCOPE
This policy applies to all branches of QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş., as well as all institutions and organizations with which the company has business relationships, including suppliers and dealers (“business partners”). QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. encourages its business partners to implement the principles stated in this policy and to adopt similar policies.
3. RESPONSIBILITIES
The senior management of QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş., the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), and the Global Division Directors (C-Level) are responsible for the implementation of this policy.
The Board of Directors of QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. is responsible for the overall supervision of the establishment and operation of notification, investigation, and sanction mechanisms in cases of non-compliance with the rules and regulations set out in the human rights policy.
4. POLICY
QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. conducts its operations with respect for human rights across all workplaces in which it operates globally.
The company strives to provide a work environment that is respectful of human rights and aligned with international standards, where employees can develop themselves, freely express their ideas, and are not subject to discrimination.
4.1 Principles, Commitments and Related Practices
4.1.1 Respect for and Compliance with Human Rights
QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş., which bases all its relationships on mutual respect, acts in compliance with human rights in its relations with employees, customers, business partners, competitors, and the communities in which it operates. The company works to encourage all stakeholders to be sensitive to human rights and to prevent human rights violations.

4.1.4 Discrimination

In line with the Diversity and Inclusion Policy of QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş., no discrimination is permitted on the basis of age, gender, race, color, language, religion, philosophical or political opinion, ethnic origin, economic status, sexual orientation, health status, disability, physical appearance, clothing, or lifestyle.
Discriminatory behavior, actions, or any form of retaliation are not tolerated.
4.1.5 Rights of Minorities and Indigenous PeopleS
In accordance with Article 30 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and Article 27 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR, 1966), QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. recognizes and supports the right of individuals belonging to minorities and indigenous communities to freely use, live, and practice their own culture, religion, and language.

The company adopts the principle of preventing any situation that may hinder employees from exercising their right to freedom of expression in the workplace and provides the necessary tools and environments for employees to express themselves freely.
4.1.8 Occupational Health and Safety
Protecting the health and safety of employees, as well as visitors or business partners who are present at QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. workplaces and/or work areas for any reason, is among the company’s top priorities.
For this reason, company management strives to ensure the highest safety standards in order to prevent potential hazards in the workplace.
In order to create a safe and healthy working environment, compliance with applicable occupational health and safety legislation and internal company requirements is essential.
QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. receives Occupational Health and Safety services by signing a service agreement with AZIM OSGB, which holds ISO 45001 certification.
Through the Occupational Health and Safety Committee, the company works to ensure and maintain a healthy and productive workplace by regularly identifying and addressing risks that may cause accidents, injuries, or health issues.
Under the supervision of Occupational Health and Safety specialists, fire and earthquake trainings are planned for employees twice a year, in April and October, and corresponding trainings and drills are conducted.
4.1.9 Forced Labor
Employees are not allowed to be employed without their consent. No employee is subjected to pressure under any circumstances, and all employees are employed in appropriate positions under equal conditions and of their own free will.
4.1.10 Child Labor
In accordance with the principle of prohibiting child labor as set out in the International Labour Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. does not employ child labor.
4.1.11 Violence and Ill-Treatment
QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. commits to providing a safe working environment for all employees and treats them with respect in a manner that does not undermine human dignity.
Employees are also obligated, regardless of the reason, not to engage in physical or psychological violence or ill-treatment toward anyone and not to tolerate such behavior by others.
Even if no action is taken, threats of violence, ill-treatment, or attempts to intimidate or instill fear are evaluated within the same scope.
QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. has zero tolerance for any form of physical, verbal, sexual, or psychological harassment, abuse, or threats.
4.1.12 Working Hours, Wages and Employee Rights
QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. conducts its operations in compliance with applicable laws regarding wages, working hours, overtime, and fringe benefits.
The company aims to prevent overtime by implementing practices that enhance employee productivity during working hours and supports the protection of work–life balance.

4.2 Policy, Procedures and Resolution of Non-Compliance
At QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş., any situation that is believed to be contrary to ethical values and principles, company policies and procedures, or legal regulations is reported through the complaint procedure and mechanism.
The QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. Complaint Mechanism is a support center that operates 24/7 and can be accessed via telephone or the company website, allowing individuals in Türkiye and other countries to report detected or witnessed misconduct, raise concerns verbally or in writing, or ask questions.
Current information regarding Ethical Hotline channels and their usage is communicated to employees of QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. through internal intranet and announcement systems (e-mails, posters, etc.).
4.2.1 Land, Forest and Water Rights and Forced Eviction
QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. complies with international regulations established for the protection of the environment and the conservation of natural resources. In this regard, the company holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 22301 certifications.
In cases requiring Forced Eviction for the maintenance of social order and in the public interest, QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. will comply with the legal decisions issued by Public Authorities.
4.2.2 Use of Private or Public Security Forces
As a logistics company engaged in international transportation, QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. is responsible for the security of the parcels and cargo entrusted to it until they are delivered to the recipient.
In this context, all branches are equipped with private security systems, including alarms and surveillance cameras. In legal processes requiring official follow-up, QS Mikro Dağıtım A.Ş. will act in close coordination with Public Security Forces and in accordance with their instructions.
